10 Tips To "Cherish U"

"There's never time, but always make time to Cherish U.

You are worth it!"

"Cherish U" is more than a business name for us. It is the message that we want to spread, and it is our mission to help our sisters understand that making time for self-care is not selfish, it is critical to your mental and emotional well-being. Your body and mind is a gift that God has given us and our name, "Cherish U", is a reminder to practice good stewardship over that gift.

Here are a few tips to get you started on your journey to "Cherish U":

Tip #1

Get proper rest - Getting proper physical rest is important. Getting in a full 8 hours is essential for me to be fully recharged and refreshed for the next day and getting adequate sleep allows your mind to repair itself. We also need spiritual rest as well. If we want real rest and energy, we must rely on our source, Jesus Christ.
Tip #2

Get to know thyself - learn to enjoy time with yourself. Get acquainted with who you are. Find your purpose & your passions.

Tip #3

Appreciate yourself - We spend so much of our time being critical of ourselves & very little time appreciating and loving ourselves. Realize that God made you the way that you are. Change the narrative and look in the mirror with new eyes and see the beauty in God's creation.

Tip #4

Move It! - make physical activities a regular part of your overall wellness. You don't have to become a champion athlete, but get some type of physical activity in. Go for a walk, take a fitness class, or go for a bike ride. Find out what you enjoy and do that. Exercise is also a great way to reduce stress.

Tip #5

Daily Devotion - I like to start my day with a daily devotion and prayer. It helps me to find my center which is great for spiritual health. Taking time for your spiritual health & development is an important process in your overall well-being.

Tip #6

Eat Nutritious Foods - Food is fuel, so it is important to fill up on foods that make you feel energetic & strong. I like to meal prep. It is a great way to ensure that I get in what I need. It keeps me away from having to go grab something that I know is unhealthy.

Tip #7

Nourish Your Skin - Skin is the largest organ on our body, but often times we don't realize how toxic so many commercial products can be to our skin. That is why we started #CherishUnaturalbathandbody. We encourage you to replace those chemical laden products and replace them with all natural products that actually nourish your skin.

Tip #8

Forgive - Learn to let go and forgive. Forgiveness is about you. It is by forgiving others that we bring peace and healing to ourselves.

Tip #9

Unplug - turn off the technology and connect with those around you.

Tip #10

Switch It Up! - they say, "variety is the spice of life", so spice it up. Do something different every once in a while. Go somewhere you never been or challenge yourself by doing something you never done.

Tell me, what are some of the things that you do to "Cherish U?" Do you already do any of these things? Do you plan to implement any of these tips?
